How to Get Certified
The ABHP grants professional certification in the field of Health Physics.
The ABHP Certification Process is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards.
2024 Exam
Part I Exam: Friday, June 21 through Saturday, June 29th
Part II Exam: Monday, July 8
Application
The application period for 2024 exams has closed. Application materials were due by January 19, 2024.

Professional ReportBecoming a CHP also qualifies an individual for membership in the American Academy of Health Physics.
Exam Information:
The Part I Exam was hosted from June 2 - 11, 2023 and administered through testing centers worldwide. The Part II Exam was hosted on June 26, 2023 at designated exam locations throughout North America. For more details, read the Prospectus above.
